David Teitelbaum, of Teitelbaum Developers, holds up the 2010 Rotary Club of Anna Maria Island’s Business person of the Year award.

David has been directly involved in the Real Estate, hospitality and tourism marketplace since1965.

  • New York City 1970 – 1984: Developed the nation’s first “office-into-apartment” conversion, financed Real Estate projects with international funds during the NYC financial crisis. Purchased, developed & managed NYC residential, commercial, recreational & cultural projects in excess of $100 million dollars. Board member: Municipal Art Society, Historic Houses Trust, Upper East Side Historic District, Historic Districts Council & Young Concert Artists.
  • 1989 - 2000: David Teitlebaum founded Cathedral Stoneworks
  • From 1997 to 2000: David managed a 'profit/not-for-profit' partnership with the Cathedral St John the Divine, including the internationally acclaimed Masonry-Training Program, Cathedral StoneWorks & StoneWorks Gallery.
  • January 2000 – Present: In 2000 David moved to Bradenton & acquired the Old Bridge Village complex. He developed this Bradenton Beach Bay-Front property into a mixed-use condominium complex of eleven luxury apartments & two office suites. In 2003 David acquired the Tortuga Inn Beach Resort & the Tradewinds Resort. Both of these Bradenton Beach Gulf-to-Bay resorts were totally re-positioned, renovated, & refurbished between 2004 & 2006. All apartments were converted into hotel-condominium ownership in 2004. David recently purchased, refurbished & restored the SeaSide Inn Beach Resort, a 10-unit Gulf-Front resort in Bradenton Beach & is developing Aqua Marine, a luxury Gulf-Front condominium project. David is a Realtor with Island Real Estate.
