  • Disassembled south group, repaired structural cracks, recarved missing elements and installed with new stainless steel frame.

  • 3-year facade restoration employing 20 carvers, cutting back Dekosit-coated brownstone ahlar to sound stone, recarving ornaments in situ.
  • 1991 Award for Best Not-For-Profit Restoration from the Municipal Art Society.
  • 1991 Restoration Award from the Preservation League of New York.
  • 1992 Presidential Historic Preservation Award from the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
